Why an outlet price is lower
Big-box retailers can't sell an appliance at full price once the box is opened or a panel is marked, so they clear those units by the truckload. The discount reflects how the appliance looks, not what it does. That's the entire mechanism — no fine print behind it.
Because of that, every listing on our inventory page shows our price next to the retailer's price on the same unit, with the model number, so you can check the comparison yourself rather than take a "70% off" banner at face value.
The extras people forget to budget
- Delivery. $25 inside Bellingham, flat-rate by town beyond it — Ferndale, Lynden, Blaine, Birch Bay, Burlington and Mount Vernon are all listed on the delivery page. Fees are per run, not per appliance.
- Haul-away. $50 to take the old unit with us. Cheaper than a dump run and a borrowed truck for most people.
- Pickup. Free. Bring a truck or trailer and straps and we'll help you load at W Axton Rd.
- Installation you can't DIY. We're not licensed for gas hookups or electrical work and we don't cut counters, so budget an installer for a built-in wall oven or a gas range.
- Small parts. Water line kits, dryer cords, dishwasher install kits. Ten or twenty dollars, but they stop the job on delivery day if you don't have them.
Buying more than one unit
Multi-unit discounts come off the order total and stack on top of the already-reduced price: 5% from two units, 8% from five, 12% from ten, and a quoted rate past twenty. What you get for the lower price
Current models rather than decade-old machines, a 1-year warranty through our partner CPS on every appliance, a basic cooling check on all refrigerators and freezers, and the chance to look at the actual unit before you pay. What you don't get is a spotless panel and a showroom.
